Just log into Office 365 using your Stony Brook email, go to Office 365 Settings, and follow the installation instructions. The suite includes Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and now OneNote for note-taking. It features the familiar Office interface, upgraded to take advantage of Mac features such as full screen views and multi-touch gestures. The new version of the software is the first major update since Office for Mac 2011.

Office 2016 for Mac is now available for free for Stony Brook University students and West Campus faculty and staff through Stony Brook’s Office 365 subscription.
